Core Curriculum

STAR Prep Academy offers a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum aligned with state standards and is recognized by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The core curriculum is comprised of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies courses; including Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses. STAR Prep’s core curriculum emphasizes higher order thinking skills, academic rigor, hands-on learning, differentiated instruction, and real-life applications.

STAR Prep’s core curriculum is designed to go beyond the requirements set by the California Department of Education. STAR Prep’s graduation requirements are aligned with UC and Cal State admission guidelines, ensuring students exceed required credits and prerequisites. Physical Education Program: The STAR Prep Physical Education program is designed to address the needs of the whole child; including experiences that focus on the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the community. The PE program follows a rotation schedule, where students rotate through different classes every 8 weeks. STAR Prep constantly seeks new opportunities and experiences for our students.
